How do you achieve success from home with business? As a work from home entrepreneur, You'll need to combine online, offline and affiliate marketing to build your business, along with some very savvy and creative thinking, plus a good network of coaches to help you along the way.

The improvement and failures of your business are depends of you. You should be professional in your work. Without professionalism and commitment in your business, your trust levels just won't be there. All of your actions must reflect ultimate trust to your prospects and clients.

1. Designate a seperate room in your house for your office.

Having a small room for your office is your designated "work" space, it's where you go to not be disturbed, so you can focus on growing your business.

Just be sure that your space is seperated from your main living area, so that you're not tempted to slip away during family time (as balance in life, espescially working from home is important).

Ensure that your space is very clean, and professionally set out, just like a real consulting office would be, this area isn't your home any longer, it's your professional surrounding, so treat it as such.

Please be sure to leave your area when you have meal breaks, and also get out of the house regularly during the day (at least once) so that you don't stagnate in "your cave" which can easily become your little corner of the world where you feel safe... I know, I work from home and you need to discipline yourself to have time for "you", your family and your work. Success from home will be imminant if you follow this strategy and keep balance in your life.

2. Answer the phone promptly and happily

Many new home businesses don’t have the same phone answering policies as a small / medium business would. The fact that your working from home and represent yourself as the boss, the salesperson, and the receptionist requires excellent phone manner.

Try answering the phone within 3 rings, I would recommend investing in a cordless phone and "keep it with you" at all times. When you answer it say "Good morning / afternoon, and this is " this will prevent you sounding like a home business and comes across highly professional.

3. Don’t be late to answer your telephone.

As stated in point two, you need to keep your phone with you all the time, try and answer it within 3 rings, make this a policy that you will keep.

If and when you hire anyone else to do this for you, as your business grows, give them the same policy and procedures that you live by, that will make you a success from home in your business and also help any virtual contractors or in house employees you might bring on.

4. Contact your customers and learn how to prospect.

By learning the skills of contacting your existing clients, you can really make awesome growth, because a large percent of your repeat business can and will come from farming your existing clients, by contacting them on the phone in a regular manner.

Please don't call your clients just to say hi however, this will only succeed in wasting their time and yours. You must have some form of offer to come to them with, maybe an interative survey, or educational tip that you just thought you'd call them on. A good way to adapt to the phone is by calling your clients and letting them know of a new free report that you have just put on your website, then giving them the address on your site to go get it.
