Quotes and Success Stories
Quotes and success stories
seem to be all over the place, espescially online. But the fact is, no matter how much you read of all this, you can never be sure what stories are true or not.
I've devised a great little exercise when reading quotes and success stories which is completely oblivious to whether the truth is imminent or not from the story itself.
The exercise goes a little like this, but you can create your own version of it if you like:
I'll pick up a book or search online for my favourite authors on quotes and success stories and then read them... But as I'm reading them, I'm projecting myself into these stories (you have to really see yourself in your minds eye, and you have to pick stories that relate to what you want to achieve in your own life).
Once you've finished reading the story, ask yourself:
What part of this story or quote can I use "Right Now" in my life?
By asking that question, you're sub-concious and concious mind will begin to find reasons, scenarios and excuses to move forward towards why you can "Do It" rather than why not.
I've found this exercise to be a rather useful one with very positive effects, try it and let me know how it goes.
One of the most effective programs that I've discovered, which enhances the above experience is called "Mind Travel" and you can learn more about it below:
