What is an email autoresponder service?
An autoresponder is a service that you can pre-write your email responses for, insert them into a series of daily, weekly or monthly pre-determined dates for your subscribers to recieve them, without you having to write the same email over and over.

This is the ultimate leveraging tool for online selling, and back end sales pipeline marketing. A lot of people say email marketing is very impersonal, but not when you use an email autoresponder service, because a lot of the better quality services have pre-defined fields where you can insert the subscribers name, date, and even pre-defined details you desire from any forms they fill out on your website.

So it really sounds like your communicating with them personally on a regular basis, but it's not you writing to them each time, becuase the "email autoresponder" is sending them out automatically for you. And when the reciever gets these emails, they can reply as per normal and you'll recieve a reply, to which you can reply to personally. This way you could have 100's of people subscribing to your newsletter, or free offer, course or product on your website to build your email marketing list and it all happens automatically.

What are some good email autoresponder services?
The top 4 autoresponder services, which share the market are as follows (all are great and do various things):

1. GetResponse.com - (I use this program personally and love it) 2. Aweber.com 3. ConstantContact.com

These top 3 services are all very good, and used by the top internet marketing experts and online website owners who "get it" when it comes to online marketing, they can be extremely powerful. Some of the most advanced internet marketers, don't even reply to the emails personally, they have a virtual team of contractors for around $4's per hour, replying to them for them in their name, so it appears completely personalized... Very smart business and very successful when implemented correctly!

You'll need to visit each of the above email autoresponder services to see which ones might work the best for you, but all are bascially the same, except for some simply differences.

From what I understand GetResponse.com is a specialist autoresponder services, and it has great email list builder that you can add targeted leads to your email building campaign, for around $80's for 200 opt-in leads, a very savvy way of quickly growing your eamil list.

ConstantContact.com has the email autoresponder in it, and also a web based survey form, which can be useful if you want to know what your list is thinking or for feedback. But personally, I think GetResponse.com is the selection and if you want a great online survey form, you can use something like SurveyMonkey.com which offers a free basic service (that's what I use) and it works fine.

Aweber.com is also highly recommended, but I just chose GetRespoonse.com due to the email list building feature, which is quite unique and very useful.

What other email autoresponder options do I have?
There are 3 other options you have which are very sound in their service, and very cost effective, total marketing solutions I believe.

2. 1ShoppingCart.com - This is a suite of marketing and client database management tools, this is a very kewl online service and has autoresponders, newsletter broadcast capabilities, affiliate programs for your products to be sold, and sales management and client prospect database control functionality... When used properly this is a very useful service, and a lot of the worlds top internet marketing guru's use this tool. I've had extensive experience with this tool, while working with another high end internet marketing guru as one of my clients, and it does the job and can handle 100's of thousands of dollars of sales and 100's of signups per day. This particular client that I have has a database of 35,000 prospects on their database and 2000 clients and it handles it with ease. And the top program only costs $97's / month... Amazing service that integrates and covers all your bases in one, online service no matter what level of marketing online your on.

3. MailLoop - This service can be found at www.mailloop.com which is a division of the "MarketingTips.com" website by internet marketing gury Derek Ghel, who is very well known online as one of the leaders, and an authority for online marekting education, I've read many of their courses and have used MailLoop before, and it's very useful.

MailLoop is an industrial standard program which works on the computer that holds your website pages, called a webhost. You need to have it installed by an expert service on their end if you cannot do this yourself, but overall it's very easy to use and the phone / email support is exemplary. And if you're very interested in, in-depth online marketing and email autoresponder marketing, this is well worth a good read and look in to. The beauty of this program is even though it's several hundred dollars to buy, you can pay it off over a few months and then "you own it" no further monthly payments.

Over all, all these autoresponders, and services I've mentioned above are very useful and any one of them are sound over the other "cheaper" or worse still "free" services out there... Which I would never recommend free services as they can stop anytime and your database and email campaigns are held hostage to them. It's much better to utilize a well structured paid service for a minimal monthly payment as low as $17's / month for an industry leading program.

My choice is still GetResponse.com and Site Build It out of all the ones I've listed above, but having used many of them, I can guarantee you that they are all very good and will serve you well in your email autresponder marketing campaigns.
