There are many business to business network ideas in books, tapes, DVD's and now online, but the one thing that I've found is they need to be really practical to carry out and almost effortless, otherwise we just won't use them (because of how busy most of us are).

So what are some of the most practical and easy to use business to business network strategies?

Well here's what I've observed over time and use myself:

1. Use car driving time as networking time
Whenever I get in the car, I'm always on the phone planting seeds with existing clients, people I've met at networking events, prospects and suppliers. It's very easy to do this, all you need is a wireless reciever that allows your phone to go through a loud speaker and you're all set (go to your local phone dealer to get a suitable solution for your phone).

2. Join a business to business network
You might even consider joining several of these networks, I've noticed that a lot of the most successful people in business are tremendous networkers. I've noticed everytime he gets in his car, he's on the phone, either making calls or taking them, whichever comes first. 3. Change your business cards
WHAT? I hear you ask, why should I change them? Because believe it or not, if you want to be passed around by your business colleagues and referred to by them, you need a different format of business card than the one you have now.

And unless you're into some very high level marketing, I could almost guarantee your business card isn't like the one I'm talking about, becuase I've never seen anyone else with cards like I'm talking about.

For example you need to take out the pretty pictures (yes, I know your ego might take a hit, but this is for more profits, so that's ok)... And you need to replace them with real, informative, copywriting that allows you to distill what it is you do in about 3 lines.

Next you need to take of all the jargon about your business and how you can help on the back of the card (because most people use the back for this purpose), and replace it with 3 of your most powerful written testimonials you have (if you don't have testimonials, go and ask your top 10 clients for them now... If they're truly happy with you, they'll gladly give them to you).

4. Join a Business to Business Online Network
